    1. So that is what they are called! I love these because they remind me of bluebonnets but with more colors. The lupines line the road making any drive in New Zealand just lovely!

      1. Lupines are hardy and beautiful short-lived perennials! There are many species of them, some with really long flower stems. They self-seeded after flowered. You can collect some seeds and grow some in your garden. 🙂 Just you know, lupines are toxic if digested.
