    • So that is what they are called! I love these because they remind me of bluebonnets but with more colors. The lupines line the road making any drive in New Zealand just lovely!

      • Lupines are hardy and beautiful short-lived perennials! There are many species of them, some with really long flower stems. They self-seeded after flowered. You can collect some seeds and grow some in your garden. 🙂 Just you know, lupines are toxic if digested.
